General Manager - High End Luxury Mall Opportunity- Confidential- Key Metro INDIA



Today’s search focus: GM- High End Luxury Mall for a prominent super luxury, diversified hospitality & real estate group in India. Role based in a key metro ( Mumbai/Delhi)
This position is open to INDIAN nationals who are currently working with prominent luxury Indian & International hotel groups in India/ overseas in the capacity of General Manager (GM)  handling a hotel of at least 150 keys in key metros ( Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore). Hotel Manager/ Resident Manager/ Director of Operations of luxury hotels can also apply.
Qualification & Experience : Preferably an MBA or Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management with around 12-15 years of overall experience in Hotels/ Malls of which at least 4-5 years should have been as Mall Head or GM of a upper upscale/ luxury hotel in a key metro city only.

Position Profile / Job Description

Key Characteristics
Ø  Leads the operations of the mall in order to ensure a conformable and secure environment to the customers.
Ø  Responsible for achievement of the Centre objectives in terms of profitability and revenue maximization by providing quality services to customers and superiors facilities/ support to retailers.
Ø  Formulate the strategy for highest quality of mall management to ensure customer delight and enhance footfalls / consumption significantly.
Ø  Ensure safety standards are set in line with corporate standards and review/ approve  the safety and security policies/ processes.
Ø  Assist the CD to develop the financial strategy, goals and targets for the center in line with the corporate philosophy and strategy.
Ø  Formulate, Support in designing and executing the annual marketing calendar to enhance footfalls / consumption significantly.
Ø  In coordination with the Operations and Engineering team, review and finalize policies and processes related to parking, house-keeping, systems and equipment (such as HVAC, escalator, elevator, music, and electricity), common areas etc.
Ø  Ensure optimum occupancy and the right brand/ product category mix at the Centre so as to attract the target consumer group and enhance consumption
Ø  Supervise the completion of the leasing administration process by the retailer and all other formalities prior to opening of a store; in coordination with Leasing and Legal teams.
Ø  Build and maintain relationships with key retailers (anchors) and ensure timely resolution of their issues.
