Today’s search focus:  Kitchen Equipment/ Layout Engineer for a prominent QSR brand (one the world’s largest), part of a large diversified consumer goods conglomerate. The position is based in New Delhi.

CTC Range: 15-20 lacs PA

	PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
	To develop, test and implement kitchen solutions addressing Equipment, Small wares and Back of House Layouts to meet the brand’s goal of localization while meeting International specifications.
	JOB SIZE:
	Departments Supported: Operations, Marketing, Food Innovation, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Finance, Restaurants.
	JOB FUNCTIONS:
	Lead the development, testing and implementation of Kitchen solutions following the brand’s International Equipment Approval Process (EAP) related to Equipment and Small wares. Will work directly with the brand’s International Engineering Team to meet all specs. 90% Manage outside resources (Equipment & Small wares Suppliers). 10%
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
International Engineering, Supply Chain; Franchise Operations, Supply Chain, QA and Management Teams.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:
EDUCATION:   Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering Preferred). EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):  5+ years, Lab/ R&D experience (lab testing and data logging). Knowledge of India Agency Approvals (NSF, UL, CE a plus). Vendor Management. Must be fluent in English (spoken & written).  Restaurant Industry experience is a plus/preferred but not mandatory. Competent in Word, Excel & PowerPoint, CAD and Rivet or equivalent preferred. Self-motivated, displays high degree of energy and has drive for action and results. Communication skills a must.
