Director of Events Opportunity- Key City- INDIA

Today's search focus: DIRECTOR OF EVENTS for a prominent super luxury international hotel group, position based in a key city in India. This position is only open to Indian nationals who are currently designated as Director of Events/ Associate Director of Events/ Banquet Manager/ Director of Catering & Convention working with prominent luxury Indian & International hotel groups and managing revenue of large banqueting hotels.

Responsibilities include the recruitment and hiring of Event sales and planning staff, training, managing and coaching event managers in process to maximize event revenues. Director of Events is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Events department, covering both banqueting/ catering and convention services functions of the hotel.

Incumbent should be innovative and updated about the latest event trends to create unique guest experiences for social or corporate events. 

 Key Specifications

• Currently working for or holds an experience of Director of Events / Banquet Manager/ Director of Catering & Convention/ Associate Director of Events with luxury property managing large banqueting & conference space (approx. 25000-30000 sq ft) with minimum 2 years in the said role.
• Good understanding of Banqueting operations/ High end banqueting operations
