Red Kite celebrates International Day of Peace!

 

Every year since 1982, the Peace Bell at the United Nations has been rung on the International Day of Peace. In the UN’s words, this day has been “devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace.”

 

This year has made it apparent that we are more united than we thought. COVID has brought us together and reminded us that everything we do on earth, affects the planet and its people as a whole.

 

As we come together to fight COVID, let World Peace Day be a reminder of just how far we’ve come and how much work there is still left to do.
