Red Kite celebrates "National Fluffernutter Day!"

Pay homage to the peanut butter and marshmallow fluff masterpiece.

 

We have the state of Massachusetts to thank for both this incredible sandwich and this day. Since Fluff originated in Sommerville, Massachusetts, back in 2006 the Massachusetts state assembly formed a proposal to make it the official state sandwich. Whilst the proposal failed, it birthed a new ice cream flavor and even prompted a Marshmallow Fluff festival to be celebrated later that year.
