MANAGER – SENIOR LIVING SERVICES for
one of India's top ten real estate developers with a strong presence in
Residential, Office, and Retail and Hospitality projects. Position based in a
major metro city. The company is venturing into Senior Living Services, fully
managed by its Hospitality division and is looking for a passionate General
Manager to head this new venture/initiative.

Key Specifications:
The General Manager ensures the delivery of exemplary
service, quality of life and peace of mind for all residents. Ensures and
leads the team to deliver quality programs & services and is sensitive to
the concerns of residents/family members. The General Manager provides
leadership and direction to staff, while maintaining the site operating budget,
including creating ancillary income and ensuring that business remains viable
and self-sustaining.
- Supervises and sets an example to all staff responsible for the delivery of exemplary hospitality and customer care services.
- Ensures service delivery and responds to the changing needs of residents and is compliant with established procedures, performance standards, budget allocations and legal requirements.
- Oversees initiatives to generate additional income and maintain an active waiting list for potential residents.
- Oversees the sourcing and purchasing, inventory, facility & maintenance, security and housekeeping management. Effectively manages agencies that service the manpower needs and enhances partnership with hospitals and elderly care solution providers.
- Prepares and presents management reports outlining overall performance for the service team in the attainment of the goals and objectives of the venture. Sets and reports on quarterly and annual service team goals.
- Conducts new Residents and family tours as needed.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
• Degree in
business administration, hospitality management, retirement communities
management or senior living management or equivalent combination of education
and experience; Ideally from F&B background in hotels
• Experience
in managing service teams in the delivery of resident driven services
preferably for seniors;
• Effective
interpersonal, problem solving, management and conflict resolution skills
• Extensive
human resource management experience including staffing and scheduling,
training, education, staff development, performance management and mentorship;
• Passionate
about the work being done
