Today’s search focus- Regional Sales Manager (HEAD) based out of Mumbai for an Indian Hotel Group heading the RSO in Mumbai.

Position reporting to GM and it is a team handling role.

This position is open to Indian nationals who are currently designated as Assistant Sales Manager/ Sales Manager/ Senior Sales Manager working with any of the major Indian or International hotel group/s. Experience of working in RSO is an added advantage.

Job Description         
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for revenue generation of all the units. The incumbent will be responsible for achieving the business targets of the company and will be required handle a team and guide them in achieving their individual targets.

Job Requirements :   
  • Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the units
  • Regularly meet and exceed assigned goals
  • Maintain and keep accurate sales records and reports
  • Has the ability to communicate with customers in a friendly, positive and professional manner
  • Has the ability to speak in a public setting
  • Prior hotel experience is required     
Job Responsibilities/ Key specifications
  • New Client Acquisition, development for all Units 
  • Relationship management with new & existing clients
  • RFP Handling
  • To develop FIT, MICE and business from Mumbai market
  • Handling key accounts from Mumbai
  • Setting up business processes and strategies for Mumbai market
  • Creating key accounts and building new portfolio from Mumbai Market.
  • Market blitz, lead generation & tie ups
  • Direct sales to Corporate/s & Travel Agents to promote conference packages & Rooms sales
  • Formulation of monthly & Annual sales plan & implementation of Sales Strategy
  • Driving overall sales performance to meet budget
  • Business Forecast & Budgeting
  • Attending exhibitions, finding new market opportunities.
  • Leading the team & Assisting team to achieve the budgets and helping them to close new leads.
